When Rivalry Gives Way
We clashed for crowns of tiny pride,
Measured triumphs side by side;
Sharp words fell like winter rain,
Leaving tracks of needless pain.
They sat and swallowed stubborn spite,
Found common ground and saw the light;
A trembling hand reached out in peace,
And all the scattered quarrels ceased.
Forgiveness planted seeds anew,
Kindness watered what was true;
Now laughter stitches up the seam,
Sibling rivals mended into a team.
